Graham Harrell and the Texas Tech Red Raiders irrevocably altered the college football season Saturday night as they upset the #1 ranked and previously unbeaten Texas Longhorns 39-33. Playing before the home crowd in Lubbock, TX, Harrell completed 36 of 53 passes for 474 yards and 2 touchdowns without an interception. After the Longhorns scored to go ahead, Harrell calmly led the Red Raiders down the field and threw the winning touchdown to Michael Crabtree.
As a result of this win, Texas Tech has leapfrogged Penn State in the standings and is now ranked #2.
