The Louisville Cardinals put quite the beating on the Florida State Seminoles at Papa John Stadium Saturday, blasting the ‘Noles 63-20. It was the worst loss in FSU history.

At the center of this maelstrom of points was Louisville QB Lamar Jackson, who accounted for 5 touchdowns, 1 through the air and 4 one the ground. His dynamic play summoned up memories of Michael Vick’s days at Virginia Tech. Jackson ran 17 times for 146 yards and threw for another 216 on 13 of 20 passing. His coming out party on national TV has thrust him into the lead for the Heisman.

Louisville visits Death Valley to play Clemson on October 1st, which will go a long way to determine who will figure into the National Championship picture as well as feature a showdown between Jackson and Deshawn Watson.
