LaDainian Tomlinson continued his assault on the NFL record book Sunday night with 199 yards and two more rushing touchdowns against the Chiefs. He set the record for most rushing TD’s in a single season (29) and raised his record total of TD’s in a single season to 31. He also took over the NFL rushing lead from Larry Johnson.
We could sketch this guy every week the way he is playing. If he isn’t named NFL MVP, there is something seriously wrong.

Vince Young ended Tennessee’s game with Houston with a 39 yard touchdown run in overtime for the victory. He has engineered fourth quarter wins the past three weeks.

Danny Wuerffel had a great season in 1996, leading Florida to the National Championship and winning the Heisman Trophy. He was particularly tough in Florida’s 24-21 loss to Florida State in the regular season, absorbing many borderline late hits. He got his revenge in the Sugar Bowl when the Gators routed FSU 52-20 to win the title. Coached by Steve Spurrier, the 1996 Gators were one of the greatest offenses in college football history.
